SPCC Compliancy (back to Services)

Patriot Clean Fuel currently offers Spill Containment Counter Measure and Control (SPCC) plans as required and mandated by the EPA. It is essential that all facilities outlined in the criteria comply before November 10, 2010. We currently offer site assessments and complete SPCC plans for all applications.

How do I know I need an SPCC plan?

Any facility that uses or stores oil in aboveground tanks or machinery in quantities greater than 1,320 gallons, including cooking oil, waste oil, hydraulic oil, utility transformers, hydraulic elevators, etc. requires an SPCC plan.

What must be included in my SPCC plan?

Certain facilities are required to develop SPCC Plans that describe equipment, workforce, procedures, and training to prevent, control, and provide adequate countermeasures to a discharge of oil.

How long do I have to prepare a SPCC plan?

On June 19, 2009 the EPA published a compliance date extension for all facilities (including farms) until November 10, 2010.
